AMCHAM Ukraine
Business case
The American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine (AmCham), "established in 1992, is among the most active and effective non-government nonprofit business organizations operating in Ukraine. One of our principle activities is to represent the foreign investment community as well as to facilitate the entrance of potential new investors into this market".
AmCham was seeking a streaming video module in order to make AmCham events available on-line.
Solution
Using modern Flash-video and server-side technologies, Running Code helped develop video streaming capabilities on AmCham website for the Chamber members, called ChamberTV. Running Code also designed the ChamberTV logo.
Client benefits
The AmCham website now offers users on-demand audio and video streaming by simply uploading Flash audio/video files.
Video streaming offers a full range of capabilities such as quick start, ability to seek any point in a file before it downloads, efficient bandwidth usage, no media file downloads.
Lastly the video files are easily manageable via integration ith AmCham's existing Content Management System (CMS).
