Business case

Golden Gate Irish Pub and Restaurant wanted an online presence to attract Western clients to their 5-year old establishment located in Kyiv, Ukraine. They wanted a web site that in addition to providing general information about the pub (events, location, menu) would illustrate that they are the quintessential Irish pub in Kyiv.

The client also wanted an easy content management tool to update the site on-demand without the use of developers.

Solution

Running Code developed a clean site that visitors would find relevant and easy-to-navigate. Running Code decided on colors and images that best represented an authentic old-school Irish pub. The end result was a design containing modern organic elements while retaining a classic quality and giving Golden Gate pub a sense of establishment. The photographs chosen mirror elements of an Irish pub and evoke good positive feelings about the bar. The site’s main navigation allows users to quickly jump between sections. Running Code also developed a simple to use CMS system that protects the overall design and layout of the site while content updates are being performed.
