Holodomor Film: Website Case Study

Business case

Running Code was approached by a group of leading documentary and short film-makers from the U.S. who asked for a compelling and fresh awareness online campaign for their feature-length documentary “Holodomor; Ukraine's Genocide of 1932-33.” The filmmakers aimed the provide viewers with an understanding of what happened during the Ukrainian Genocide and encourage donations to the project.

Solution

In conveying the gravity of the subject matter, Running Code designed the website using a simple navigation scheme and a dark patterned background.
In support of the project, Running Code donated their services in the design and development of the project.
